Contingent labour refers to people employed by a contingent labour supplier and hired from that supplier by a NSW Government agency to provide labour or services.
OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management
A Corporate WHS Management System will demonstrate a contractor’s WHS structure, policies and resources and identify who is accountable for this. It will also demonstrate the integration of WHS requirements with the general management procedures, practices and performance standards of the contractor.
It should give clear guidelines for the contractor’s consultation and risk management processes, define who has responsibility for WHS, and outline how these policies, practices, standards and procedures will be communicated.
Cm3 Contractor Saftey Management
Cm3 addresses the need for both contractors; and the organisations they conduct work for to demonstrate contractor health and safety management capabilities, along with providing assistance for organisations to better manage their contractors around health and safety requirements.
